Once a year the band's Musical Director is asked to present its 'Most Improved Player' award. There are often a few people who stand out for their efforts but Chris License said he had no difficulty in choosing Steve Ewence for this year's accolade.
Steve joined the band's cornet section 12 months ago after a 25 year break from playing trumpet. Chris said that Steve has shown remarkable progress and commitment to the band so thoroughly deserves the recognition.
